Le Comité d'action syndicale (CAS), basé à Lausanne, est actif dans toute la Suisse romande. Une large part de son activité consiste en la publication du périodique Lutte ouvrière, éditeur responsable J.-L. Mello. Entre 10 et 12 numéros par an paraissent de 1973 à 1979. Le CAS suit l'ensemble des luttes sur les lieux de travail en Suisse. Dans les cas des conflits qui se déroulent en Suisse romande, il publie également des tracts, des affiches et autres matériels de soutien et de popularisation. Une branche genevoise du CAS (le Groupe d'action syndicale) existe brièvement à Genève.
