Constitution de l'association le 4 juin 1974, par Mario Cavalli, Ch. Koeppel, E. Camerin et Léon Meynet. Les statuts signé alors prévoient que «la présente association a pour but d'aider et de faire connaître par tous moyens, toutes formes d'expression socio-culturelles [...] ne trouvant pas de débouchés satisfaisants dans la conjoncture actuelle.»

L'association organisera des concerts de rock à Genève et parfois à Lausanne, seule ou en collaboration par exemple avec le Centre Marignac (Genève) pour le festival Twist et Scooter.
