Il s'agit d'une affiche (noir sur papier jaune) annonçant une fête populaire aux Grottes (Genève), organisée par les habitants pour défendre leurs intérêts. La fête a lieu sur la place et la rue des Grottes le samedi 30 septembre 1978 et plusieurs activités sont prévues (concerts, stands, exposition, bal, jeux d'enfants, musique etc.).
Dessin d'un peintre sur un escabot avec une bière à la main en train de peindre des inscriptions sur un mur. Autour de lui, une fête avec des hommes, des femmes et des enfants, de la musique (tambour).
